Reading in Spaces of Hybridization among Diverse Literacies for a Plurilingual Education
New studies on literacy lead us to rethink literacy practices in school contexts of linguistic and cultural diversity. From a non-deficient perspective on familiar literacy, the creation of a third space is proposed, which promotes the interconnection of the different literacies within the framework of inclusive education. Hybridization spaces are considered as linguistic and cultural mediators that facilitate participation in the construction of meaning without renouncing to diversity.
From Oral Transmission to Literary and Multimodal Neomythologies: Itineraries for Literary Education
The evolution and metamorphosis of oral narratives are examined on both a synchronic and diachronic level in relationship to literate written culture and new multimodal discourses. To illustrate these phenomena, case studies are presented concerning the formation and reception of myths in the pan-Mediterranean region.
Learning Assets: The Didactics of Language and Literature and the Challenges of Plurilingualism and Technology
A field of knowledge represents a community of researchers focused on a subject of study, but it is also a way of understanding reality and the environment through the use of certain cultural frameworks, tools, and interpersonal relationships. In this context, “learning assets” represent a holistic approach to the learning of languages and literatures, allowing us to better understand, among others, how plurilingualism develops or how technology is integrated into our lives. In this presentation, we will analyze the relationship between these conceptual blocks as a key aspect of Language and Literature Didactics in the 21st century.
