The Didactics of Language and Literature in Plurilingual and Technologised Societies: Learning and Teaching Oral and Written Culture in the Digital Era

The motto chosen for the congress, La didàctica de la llengua i la literatura en societats plurilingües i tecnologitzades: aprendre i ensenyar des de la cultura oral i escrita cap a l’era digital, responds to the need to reflect on the practices related to the teaching and learning of languages and literature in plurilingual contexts, as well as in other types of contexts in which the digital technology also plays a key role. In this sense, it is crucial to delve into the conceptualisation of such practices and outline new paradigms with the aim to contribute to the development of linguistic, communicative and cultural competences in plurilingual and technologised societies and to educate readers who enjoy reading and writing as part of their daily lives.

The 25th SIDLL International Conference will be held from 27th-29th November at Rectorat Campus of the Universitat de Lleida.
